Characterisation of high temperature resistant textile defoamers

Textile printing and dyeing processes are constantly evolving and innovating to meet market demands and environmental requirements. With the development of technology and increased awareness of sustainability, the textile printing and dyeing industry is poised for more innovation, and the development of high temperature resistant textile defoamers contributes to the design, quality and sustainability of textiles.


During the textile printing and dyeing process, foam in the dye liquor may have a negative impact on productivity and product quality. Therefore, the addition of defoamers is often necessary to control and eliminate foam. High temperature resistant textile defoamer has the following properties:

1. Rapid defoaming ability: high temperature textile defoamer should have the ability to eliminate foam quickly, that is, it can quickly destroy and disperse the foam in the dye liquor. This helps to improve production efficiency and reduce potential operational difficulties.

3. Good compatibility: defoamer should be compatible with other chemicals such as dyestuffs, auxiliaries and textile materials, and will not affect the dyeing effect and quality of dyeing solution.
4. High-temperature stability: defoamer is not easy to decompose or fail under high temperature environment, and it can exist stably and keep its defoaming effect.
5. Environmental friendliness: the defoamer should be environmentally friendly, not containing harmful substances or volatile organic compounds to ensure the environmental sustainability and safety of the production process.
6. Does not affect product quality: defoamer should have no obvious negative impact on printing, dyeing and other processes, such as not affecting the accuracy of the colour, dyeing uniformity and colour fastness.

7. Economy: excellent defoamer should have economy, that is, under reasonable conditions of use, the dosage is moderate, can be efficient in controlling the foam at the same time to reduce production costs.
